Impulse welder application example: Nut insertion (large nut)
Achieve nut press-fitting through high-frequency (induction) heating.
It is possible to perform nut press-fitting welding using high-frequency (induction) heating. This method is used in automotive intake manifolds, air filters, and more. - Principle: When current flows through a coil connected to an AC power source, eddy currents are generated in the metal inserted into the coil. This eddy current, along with the electrical resistance of the metal, generates Joule heat, which is used for the nut press-fitting process. - Features: High-speed heating is possible. Since the nut itself is heated, there is minimal heat loss, making this a highly efficient heating method. - Nut size: Up to M10 - Nut material: Brass, iron If you send us a sample, we can conduct experiments and prototypes using our experimental equipment.
